These camlock gaskets (sealing rings) are made of high quality Viton rubber.
Viton gaskets can withstand temperatures from -20°C to +250°C (-4°F to 482°F).
One of Viton's standout features is its outstanding chemical resistance, making it ideal for applications where exposure to harsh chemicals, oils, fuels, and solvents is common.
Viton is highly resistant to most oils, fuels, and lubricants, including gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.
It is widely used in automotive and aerospace industries for fuel seals and gaskets.
Viton offers resistance to a wide range of strong acids (like sulfuric and hydrochloric acids) and bases (such as sodium hydroxide).
It has excellent resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons (e.g., toluene, xylene) and chlorinated solvents.
Resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons like kerosene and mineral oils is also good.
